The mosaic is inspired by cosmaticque models and it is composed by ancient fragments of marbles. The drawing was created by the last owner of the Palace, baron Giogrio Franchetti, who realized it mostly by himself. Unfortunately he died in 1922, before the end of the work and he couldn’t enjoy its final splendor.
